Founder and President

Paparao Gummadapu, founder of Sourcing Simple, Inc. brings over a decade of experience in Supply Chain Sourcing Technology Solutions and 6 Patents in enterprise supply-chain sourcing solution.

Paparao was the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture & Co-Founder of Co-eXprise (Now Directworks) the enterprise supply-chain sourcing solution company that helps reduced cycle time, efficiency and immediate, positive bottom line impact. He was responsible for architecting and building an enterprise class, distributed and scalable Web 2.0 sourcing solution. Additionally, he played an integral role in leading the software development team at Co-eXprise.

Prior to Co-eXprise, Paparao was a key contributor in the New Business Technologies (R&D) development group at FreeMarkets. In this role, he was responsible for the development of new products focusing on the supply chain market, including ground-breaking products such as Supplier Implementation and Spend Visibility.
